Essex Community Players Announces Auditions, Production of ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’

Based on the Charles Schulz television special, Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, Lucy and the rest of the Peanuts gang search for the true meaning of Christmas. This production is slated to be a light, fun experience with a limited rehearsal calendar to avoid overtaxing an already busy holiday calendar.

Singing is limited to two songs performed ensemble. There is a dance number and an ice skating scene, so rollerblade or roller skating skills are a plus. All adults and young adults (14 and older) are invited to audition.

Male/Female – 2: Snoopy, Snowman

Male – 5: Charlie Brown, Linus, Schroeder, Pig Pen, Shermy

Female – 5: Lucy, Sally, Violet, Patty, Frieda
