Neil Diamond Tribute Concert, Food Sampling among offerings

The 21st annual Vermont 50-Plus & Baby Boomers EXPO will be held Saturday, Jan. 30 at the Sheraton-Burlington Hotel & Conference Center from 9 a.m.– 4 p.m.

Baby Boomers, seniors and all ages are invited to enjoy a day of fun and learning including: more than 90 exhibit booths; seminars and workshops covering everything from health and wellness to money and travel; giveaways including a trip for two; Lyric Theatre Musical Revue; dance party with DJ Charlie Rice; Neil Diamond Tribute Concert with NYC’s Brian LaBlanc; photo booth; silent auction and raffle to benefit Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity; art demos; free food sampling with soups, desserts and more.

The Neil Diamond Tribute Concert will be held from 12-1 p.m. in the Emerald Ballroom featuring professional singer/musician Brian LaBlanc, by far the most musically authentic Neil tribute performer in the eastern U.S. He was “discovered” playing with his band in New York by renowned music producer Paul Shaffer, and is coming to the EXPO to perform Diamond’s biggest hits live on stage.

Tickets are $5 at the door, $4 in advance and can be purchased online. Ticket price is all inclusive, except for food concessions for sale by the Sheraton. The event is handicap accessible and includes free parking.
